There’s Someone for Everyone... They Say

There's someone for everyone, they say.
Many find that missing piece early.
Many find it... and eventually lose it.
Many never do and settle for something else.
Some never even find a way and give up the search altogether.
Only a few truly find that piece that fits in perfectly.

There's someone for everyone, they say.
But not everyone will find their someone.
For some, the search may take a lifetime.
And by the time the piece is found,
It might be when the hair has grayed, and the years are few.
But even then, it’s still a game of chance.

Perhaps there truly is someone for everyone.
But just like many great works of art that never make it to the museum...
Many great loves never get found.
