A man is nothing but his mind.
Lose that - and you lose everything.

A lesson from the life of Solomon
In his early days, he was filled with wisdom,
Yet he let himself be beguiled by promiscuity,
And soon became a fool to his very own words.

A lesson I too have learned,
And one I hold dearly at heart:
A man is nothing but his mind.
When that is lost, destruction and chaos are all that await.

A lesson one must never neglect:
Hang on to the words of God.
Have the fear of the Lord
For in it are wisdom, peace, and fulfillment found.

A lesson is a lesson.
And a lesson skipped must be returned to.
Though a lesson may be learned,
It can, and often must, be repeated until mastery is gained.

My life is a lesson.
And a series of lessons have brought me here.
The bad, the good, and the ugly
All have shaped the man I am today.

Yet I hang on to this belief:
These lessons are the foundation
Of the future self being created.
