Wealth: Principles Matters

Nicholas Ilechie / / 3 min read

A reckoning I spent my night to ponder on, and one I have come to accept, and one that many must come to terms with:

Wealth can only be attained from mastering its principles and nothing else—there’s no guaranteed career, job, task, or whatever that can give you that.

Of course, riches can be gained easily by certain paths, as riches often come and go with the season, but wealth differs as it is life-lasting.

A simple illustration...
Just because you know someone who got rich or wealthy through cryptocurrency, financial trading, real estate, or a certain kind of business doesn’t mean that is the pathway to wealth.

He/She could tell you everything they do, word for word, action by action, and you may try to replicate it, yet fail woefully and never amount to their level of success...

Does that mean their path or line of business is now outdated? Or do you think they’re not telling you the full truth? Or perhaps you’ve got demonic spirits hindering you?
Nonsense!!!

You failed and will never amount to that wealth because you do not deserve it.

Why?

You say to yourself — but I have the skills, I have what it takes, I’m no different from them...

Yes, all this may be true - You may be filled with knowledge and all of that which makes you think you deserve it, yet you don’t understand the principles that govern wealth.

The PRINCIPLES are all that matter.

One may become wealthy through the most ridiculous means. Some attain wealth with comedy, some through selling, some in shoemaking, and others through some of the most laughable things — it has nothing to do with age or gender.

But a common finding amongst all of these sets of successful, wealthy individuals is the “SHARED PRINCIPLES” in which they live their lives.

It’s a bit funny, because when a desperate man or friends of these individuals ask them for help on how they too can amass such wealth, the prosperous individuals may not be able to truly help them. Or in the best cases, he/she may tell them, "do what I did." A comedian may advise another to become a comedian, a trader will advise another to become a trader, and a businessman in like manner...

Yet, to those they advise, they may never be able to attain the same level of status — of course, some may, but one in hundreds.

Why?

Because wealth isn’t gained by “works” but by “principles” — at a certain point in life, successful people get more successful, and it continues in an uptrend.

Why?

Because they’ve built their lives on autopilot, where their subconscious self acts proactively without the need for their conscious minds…
They do things without even consciously noticing the fact that they are doing it.

It’s the same reason why wealth can hardly be transferred — of course, “riches” can. A person who inherits wealth and fails to follow the principles would naturally and surely decline over the years until he/she is left with nothing but desires that can’t be gratified.

In conclusion, if a man truly seeks to be wealthy, it is left for him or her alone to truly make themselves wealthy and no one else. Blame none, envy none, despise none, and read good books. There’s so much to learn from books that could save you 10–20 years of bad life experiences. Learn from others who are better than you, but know how to filter information...

A very wise saying from a friend: “People often don’t know what affects them.” As simple as the statement may seem, it holds so much deep meaning, and a lot of awakening can happen when you ponder on it.
